Arthur, Wait!
This is Arthur Wait.
He is has is very own stand at Crystal Palace Football club. It's called the Arthur Wait stand.
I think he must be away this weekend though, because on Saturday I will be using his stand. It says so on my ticket.
I wonder if any other bloggers will be there? I think there is a football match going on at about 3 o'clock.
Crystal Palace are playing against Hull City. That's who Dean Windass used to play for. Here is a picture of him for my friend Howesey:
Watching football makes me thirsty. I wonder if there is anywhere nearby I might get some refreshments afterwards? Maybe one of the other bloggers will know.

Would you AdamandEve it mate. The ugliest dustman the Hull Corporation ever employed has signed for Hull on loan from Barnsley just in time for the Palarse game. Season ticket holders with children are warned that sitting too close to the pitch could be hazardous and result in mental scarring.

Yes, funny that. It says 'Arfur Wait stand' on my ticket as well. You'd think they'd offer him a seat for waiting all that time, 'cos he's getting on a bit now.
You can always try the Clifton Arms pub on Holmesdale road. Make sure you wear your Palace colours or they won't let you in...

cos I got one of those long listings for insurance websites as a comment on the last blog. Don't worry, anything obscene and/or abusive will be automatically approved.
Are you around for a pint after the match? I will hide any black and amber and try and speak with a Cockerney barrer boy accent to avoid potential embarrassment...
Before the match would be better, as I've been threatened with a ban on my girlfriend's brother's 40th birthday party if I don't get over to the east end by 8 pm sharpish.
If it's after the match it'll only be a very rushed swift half, and that's no way to quench yer thirst.
As The Undertones have sung "You've got me number", though obviously this isn't meant in the same way.
If you get silly adverts in the comments section, you could always delete them for good afterwards?
And don't forget folks, the Crystal Palace club shop will be opened before and after tomorrow's match, where they have all sorts of CPFC related items at special discount January sale prices!
